Oskido Teppanyaki Salmon

Preparation time 10 minutes
Cooking time 10-15 minutes


For the Salmon
2x 100g Salmon fillets, sliced into wide slices
1 tsp cooking oil (for greasing the grill)
Ground black pepper

For the Teppanyaki Salmon Sauce
1 Tbsp butter
2 medium garlic cloves, minced
3 Tbsps Teppanyaki sauce
1 Tbsp lemon juice
Sesame seeds, to garnish (optional)
Spring onion, chopped, to garnish (optional)
Lime cheeks, to garnish (optional)


  1. Turn the heat under a Teppanyaki grill to medium-high and grease the grill with cooking oil.
  2. Place the salmon on the grill skin side down and sprinkle with black peppercorns.
  3. Cook until the fish has distinctive grill marks, about 3 minutes.
  4. Use a spatula to turn the salmon over gently to avoid breaking it.
  5. Then remove from the heat and keep warm.
  6. For the sauce, heat butter in a pan and add the garlic, fry for 30 seconds, stirring continuously, then add the Teppanyaki sauce and lemon juice, stir through.
  7. Remove from the heat,pour the mixture over the salmon and serve.
