J’Something and Co. reinventing Joburg nightlife with Artistry; three-tier cultural dining, entertainment and party experience

Does the perfect night out sound a bit like going for dinner, watching a live show and then going for drinks, but without having to catch an Uber or dive? While, then you are going to fall in love with J’Something’s new experience, Artistry.

Partnering with hotel and apartment network BlackBrick, and entrepreneur Ricardo da Costa, the flaming award-winning musician, My Kitchen Rules SA judge and foodie, is bringing a three-tier dining, entertainment and party adventure to you!

Artistry is more than just food, entertainment and drinks, it is an experience. Guests will start at the rooftop restaurant, then move on to the middle-level theatre, and finally to where the party happens, the street lounge bar. A trilogy that makes for the most sublime night out.

“The name Artistry really does explain a lot about what we are trying to achieve. This is not meant to be a trendy nightspot for a set period of time, it is intended to become a way of life. The Artistry philosophy even extends to the furniture which features mostly recycled pieces. Things that have stood the test of time will be given the stamp of Artistry,” J’Something said in the official press release.

A deeper look into the three-level full cultural immersion, that is, Artistry

The Rooftop

Where it all starts, The Rooftop. With food being part of J’Something’s DNA, you can be assured that the dishes will be delectable. Not only will you be able to eat here, but also enjoy pre-drinks at the bar, a dip in the pool and even catch a quick movie at the outdoor cinema. Leave no night starter stone unturned.

The 100-seater Theatre

Whether a classic theatre show, a vibey live band or a hilarious comedian, this grand space is exactly what is needed to get you going. Being the “birthplace of original ideas”, the Theatre is going to bring Sandton entertainment that it has never seen before.

 The After Party Bar

Where it all ends… or where the party actually starts. Taking it back to basics, this street bar will have some of Mzansi’s sickest DJs busting beats, kicking it old school with classic vinyl sets. Surrounded by delicious monsters, patrons can sip on divine cocktails as they see the night out. Total perfection.

Artistry will set fire to Sandton in early 2023, so watch out!
